Fishing Boat Automaton 2.0
Automatons bridges a gap for me letting me work with wood, explore mechanical principles and do animation.
The videos represent some progress beyond reading books and making cardboard models. My tactic is to just go and ahead and make the thing even if I think I should read one more book or watch one more video. Action is the best teacher and I learn way more by making mistakes than I do by reading.
Fishing Boat Automaton 2.0
This isn’t really the second Fishing Boat Automaton. There were several before, some of them cardboard. I tried to experiment with the simplest, most expendable materials before I committed the effort to wood.
